You can also use the Send feedback option inside the app (Settings → Feedback). It opens an email pre-filled with your app version, which helps us debug faster.

We aim to respond within a few business days. Cherished is built by a small team, so we read every message.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?

Everything you write in Cherished is stored locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to our servers — we don't have any. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

How do I back up my data?

In Settings, scroll to the Backup section. Tap Save backup to create a file you can keep in iCloud Drive, email to yourself, or save anywhere iOS lets you share files. To restore later, tap Restore from backup and pick the file.

How do I move my data to a new iPhone?

Create a backup on your old phone, save it somewhere accessible (iCloud Drive is easiest), install Cherished on your new phone, complete onboarding, then go to Settings → Restore from backup.

How do I cancel Cherished Plus?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. Open the iPhone Settings app, tap your name at the top, tap Subscriptions, find Cherished Plus, and tap Cancel. Your subscription stays active until the end of the current period.

I deleted the app by accident. Is my data gone?

If you didn't have a backup saved, yes — deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. We can't recover it because we never had a copy. This is why we recommend creating a backup every few weeks.

Is Cherished available on Android?

Not yet. The current focus is the iPhone version.

Can my partner and I share an account?

Not at the moment. Partner pairing is in development for a future release. For now, each person uses Cherished privately on their own device.
