Thank you — we'll write when it's ready.

A daily prompt

One small question or nudge each day — something to notice, remember, or do for your partner. Two minutes, not twenty.

A private journal

What you notice gets written down and kept on your phone. Over time it becomes a record of who they are and what they love.

Gift ideas & weekly check-ins

Capture gift ideas the moment they mention something, and take a short weekly check-in to keep your attention where it belongs.

Cherished — a relationship companion for two. Daily prompts, private journals, thoughtful rituals. Everything stays on your device.

No account. No cloud. Just yours.

Everything you write in Cherished stays on your phone. We don't have servers, we don't have accounts, and there is nothing to sign up for. Your relationship is private by design — not as an option you have to turn on.

Common questions

Does my partner need to download the app?+

No. Cherished is your private space. You use it on your own, and your partner never needs to know it's there.

That said, you can optionally share a Partner Card with them — a simple QR code that lets your partner add their own details (birthday, preferences, love language) directly to your app. No account or download required on their end.

Is it free?+

Cherished is free to download and use. A Cherished Plus subscription unlocks additional prompts, home screen widgets, and deeper features. You can cancel any time from your device's subscription settings.

How is my data kept private?+

Everything you write is stored only on your device — not on our servers, not in the cloud, not anywhere else. There are no accounts to create and nothing to log in to. Even we cannot see what you've written.

If you delete the app, your data is deleted with it. It works like a notebook, not a social network.

What happens when I get a new phone?+

Because your journal lives on your device, you'll need to use your phone's built-in backup to bring it with you. On iPhone, an iCloud or local iTunes backup will carry everything over when you restore to a new device. We recommend running a backup before switching.

What are love languages?+

Love languages are a framework for understanding how different people prefer to give and receive affection. The five are: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Acts of Service, Physical Touch, and Receiving Gifts.

Cherished uses your partner's love language to shape the daily prompts — so the nudges you get are relevant to how they actually feel loved, not just generic relationship advice.

When is the Android version coming?+

The Android app is coming soon. Leave your email above and we'll send one note the day it's available.

I have a question that isn't here.+

Write to us at the support page and we'll get back to you.
